Join the Ouichef cooking club and find out!
It's on every Tuesday from 5.45pm to 8.00pm and commences with:
'The French Patisserie'
Session 1 (24th Nov): Introduction, Pate feuilletage minute (quick puff pastry)
Goats cheese tartlet
Session 2 (1st Dec): Tart Tatin, Pâte Brisée (shortcrust paste)
Session 3 (8th Dec): Baked Frangipan tart, Pâte a foncer (lining or flan paste)
Session 4 (15th Dec): Pate a choux (choux paste) Chocolate éclairs and profiteroles
Session 5 (22nd Dec): Tarte aux fruits, (fruit tart with crème patissière) Pâte sucrée
(sweet short pastry)
Break for Christmas
Session 6 (Jan 5th): Genoise sponge (plain) prepare feuilletage
Session 7 (Jan 12th): Mille feuilles, crème patissière, crème chantilly
Session 8 (Jan 19th): Mediterranean style breads, Fresh butter. (Cheese and wine after)
(Limited to a maximum of 6 students)
Price: 265Euros per person for the eight weeks. This includes:
