Join the Ouichef cooking club and find out!
It's on every Tuesday from 5.45pm to 8.00pm and commences with:
'The French Patisserie'
Session 1 (12th Feb): Introduction, Pate feuilletage minute (quick puff pastry)Goats cheese
tartlet
Session 2 (19th Feb): Tart Tatin, Pâte Brisée (shortcrust dough)
Session 3 (26th Feb): Baked Frangipan tarts, Pâte a foncer (lining or flan paste)
Session 4 (4th Mar): Pate a choux (choux pastry) Chocolate éclairs and profiteroles
Session 5 (11th Mar): Genoise sponge (plain) prepare feuilletage for session 6
Session 6 (18th Mar): Mille feuilles, crème patissière, crème chantilly
Session 7 (25th Mar): Tarte aux fruits de saison, (seasonal fruit tart with crème patissière)
Pâte sucrée (sweet short pastry)
Session 8 (1st April): Mediterranean style breads, Fresh butter. (Cheese and wine after)
(Limited to a maximum of 8 students)
Price: 176Euros per person for the eight weeks. This includes:
